About the Opportunity
The 2024 grant program aims to increase access to the arts and creative industries for those facing economic or other barriers to inclusion. Applications are welcome from charitable organizations making a tangible impact in communities where Soho House has a presence.
Important Information:
Eligibility: Impactful charitable organizations with creativity and inclusion at their core, demonstrating a proven track record in program delivery. Applicants will be assessed on various criteria, including their ability to provide transformative opportunities for young creatives, address inequality of opportunity, geographical location of programs, inclusivity of the organization, track record in delivering impactful programs, and effectiveness of organizational management.
Target Age Group: The focus is primarily on young people from school age to 27 years old, but are flexible. Also fund projects supporting creatives of any age who have previously faced social or economic barriers to inclusion.
Funding Available: four grants of £25,000 each across global cities where Soho House is located.
Exclusions: Unable to consider applications for work that is not legally charitable, unincorporated organizations, grants or bursaries to individuals, political activities, religion, clinical healthcare, animal welfare, sporting activities, academic or medical research, or projects outside specified geographical or thematic areas.
Funding Timeline:
March 26: Expressions of interest invited
April 30: Deadline for expressions of interest
May 30: Eligible organizations invited to proceed to stage 2 of the assessment process
June 30: Deadline for Stage 2 applications
September 1: Applicants informed of outcome of their application
